Over time the prize pool will grow providing wider distribution and encouraging more and more devs to participate on a regular basis. At some point in the future this will allow them to treat the weekly hackathon as part of their core activity. Consistent participants will be receiving enough rewards to quit their regular jobs. We aim to cultivate building to prosper the same way streaming and gaming did for professional streamers and gamers known today.
Also, we are leaning towards the fee distribution structure which also includes the $HACKATHON holders, who are consistently voting and taking part in the life of the community.
